Budgeting / Personal Debt Resources

Believing that budgeting practices or debt issues are typically more involved than just a conversation, I encourage you to utilize either of the below resources to gain a better understanding of how to take the steps necessary to maintain and accomplish a plan. If you’re in need of simple budgeting practices, please speak with me and I’d be happy to walk you through some available tools.  However, I still encourage you to check out either of the following:

  • Budgeting and to some degree debt: Crown Ministries (www.crown.org)
  • Budgeting and Debt: www.DaveRamsey.com then click on “Find a Class” under Financial Peace University.

There are many resources available in the budgeting / debt area, perhaps even at your church.  These are simply two that I’m familiar with and my wife, Penny, and I completed the Crown Ministries course. I personally made mistakes taking on debt I shouldn’t have and learned lessons through it.  My hope is that others don’t make the same mistake.

Debt can be more complex and typically will take additional steps to tackle. Many have felt overwhelmed by debt but I have seen how establishing goals and plans can lead to financial freedom and on a course to building savings.

Whether you, your children or your grandchildren could use help in these areas, I hope you explore the opportunities.
